Played with WiiSXRX Version 2.5 Beta for the Nintendo Wii. you can tell this came out originally between final fantasy 6+7, this wouldn't look at all out of place labelled as one of the FF series and is (in my opinion) far superior to some of the FF games (I'm looking at you number 6.) Final Fantasy Chronicles - Chrono Trigger (USA) Version 1.1 6 different save files from my playthrough. Possibly one of my favourite games of all time, well worth playing, the plot is brilliant, the combat system excellent. (Ripped bloodily from wikipedia with some notes added) Masato Kato (Ninja Gaiden, parts of FF7) wrote most of the plot, while composer Yasunori Mitsuda scored most of the game before falling ill and deferring remaining tracks to Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu (who is a god :P). The reason this is made up of so much win is purely this:Ĭhrono Trigger's development team included three designers that Square dubbed the "Dream Team", consisting of Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series, and Yuuji Horii and Akira Toriyama - two freelance designers known for their work on Enix's Dragon Quest series.
